Today marked the conclusion of the Republic Championship for Kowat Alrami sports, for both adults and youth categories. The championship was supervised by Professor Walid Qassas, President of the International and Arab Federations of Kowat Alrami and Self-Defense. It was organized by the Syrian Arab Federation for Martial Arts – Kowat Alrami Committee, headed by Mr. Yassin Al-Mashaan, at Al-Yasmeen Hall in Damascus, with the participation of a large number of clubs from various Syrian provinces.
The referees and judges who had participated in the refereeing seminar delivered by Professor Walid Qassas one day prior to the championship applied practical officiating during the Republic Championship.
At the conclusion of the event, the winners were awarded medals and certificates by Professor Qassas, Lebanese Federation member Ayman Radwan, Syrian Federation President Mr. Yassin Al-Mashaan, Vice President Mr. Abdulrahman Badran, as well as the heads of the refereeing and technical committees and the judges.
The top three positions were then announced, with Al-Shorta Club achieving first place.
Finally, the President and members of the Syrian Federation presented a commemorative shield to Professor Walid Qassas as a token of appreciation and gratitude.
The event concluded with commemorative photos taken for the occasion.
