The 7th Arab Power-Strike Championship officially kicked off today under the supervision of the Arab Federation, led by Professor Walid Kassas, hosted by the Bahrain Combat Sports Council, and organized by the Bahrain Power-Strike Committee chaired by Mr. Mahmood Yaseen.
The event is being held at Khalifa Sports City in Manama, Bahrain, with the participation of national teams representing 12 Arab countries.
Following medical checks and official weigh-ins, the first day of the tournament launched with intense and highly competitive bouts, showcasing strong technical performance from senior, youth, and junior male and female athletes.
Yesterday, prior to the start of the matches, Professor Walid Kassas delivered a lecture on Power-Strike sports, followed by a refereeing seminar where he explained the rules of all approved styles, including the Self-Defense Competition style.
The tournament continues tomorrow with the semi-final and final matches, followed by the crowning of the champions.
Closing Ceremony and Crowning of the Champions
The championship concluded last night in the presence of the Arab Federation President, Professor Walid Kassas, federation members, and participating delegations.
Hosted by the Bahrain Combat Sports Council and organized by the Bahrain Power-Strike Committee, the finals featured strong and competitive bouts between athletes from 12 Arab nations, all vying for top rankings and gold medals.
The matches were marked by high technical skill and exemplary sportsmanship. At the end of the event, the champions were awarded medals and certificates, and the referees were honored.
Commemorative gifts were exchanged between delegation heads, with honorary shields presented to the President of the Arab Federation and to Dr. Ramzi Mustafa, President of the Tunisian and African Federations.

انطلاق فعاليات البطولة العربية السابعة لرياضات قوة الرمي في البحرين
بدأت اليوم فعاليات ونزالات البطولة العربية السابعة لرياضات قوة الرمي، بإشراف الاتحاد العربي برئاسة البروفسور وليد قصاص، واستضافة المجلس البحريني للألعاب القتالية، وتنظيم اللجنة البحرينية لرياضات قوة الرمي برئاسة السيد محمود ياسين، وذلك في مدينة خليفة الرياضية في المنامة – البحرين.
شاركت في البطولة منتخبات وطنية من 12 دولة عربية، وبعد إجراء الفحص الطبي والوزن الرسمي، انطلقت نزالات اليوم الأول بقوة، حيث شهدت عروضاً عالية المستوى وروحاً تنافسية مميزة بين الفرسان الكبار والشباب والناشئين من الذكور والإناث.
وفي الأمس، قُبيل انطلاق النزالات، قدّم البروفسور وليد قصاص محاضرة حول رياضات قوة الرمي، تلتها جلسة سيمينار تحكيمي شرح فيها القوانين الخاصة بجميع الأساليب المعتمدة، ومنها أسلوب منافسات الدفاع عن النفس.
وتستكمل المباريات يوم الغد بإقامة النزالات النصف نهائية والنهائية، يليها تتويج الفرسان الفائزين.
ختام البطولة وتتويج الأبطال
اختتمت مساء أمس فعاليات البطولة العربية السابعة لرياضات قوة الرمي، بحضور رئيس الاتحاد العربي البروفسور وليد قصاص وأعضاء الاتحاد، باستضافة المجلس البحريني للألعاب القتالية وتنظيم اللجنة البحرينية لرياضات قوة الرمي.
وقد شاركت منتخبات تمثل 12 دولة عربية في المنافسات النهائية، التي شهدت نزالات قوية وتركيزاً عالياً من فرسان وفارسات قوة الرمي، الذين تنافسوا على المراكز الأولى والفوز بالميداليات الذهبية ورفع تصنيف بلدانهم.
اتسمت النزالات بمستويات فنية راقية وأخلاق رياضية مميزة، وفي الختام تم تتويج الأبطال الفائزين بالميداليات والشهادات، كما جرى تكريم الحكام وتبادل الهدايا التذكارية بين رؤساء الوفود. وقد تم تقديم درع تكريمي لرئيس الاتحاد العربي من رئيس اللجنة البحرينية، وكذلك لرئيس الاتحاد التونسي والأفريقي د. رمزي مصطفى.
